Senior VMware Administrator – Virtualization Infrastructure Expert

As a Senior VMware Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leader in IT infrastructure modernization. You will drive critical virtualization projects, optimize complex environments, and ensure seamless performance, security, and scalability. Your main responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter) to ensure high availability and performance.

• Lead and implement VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including SDDC Manager, vSAN, and NSX-T solutions.

• Configure and maintain high-availability features: HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and vSAN.

• Automate and orchestrate infrastructure using tools like vRealize Automation.

• Monitor and troubleshoot virtual environments, implementing necessary security and performance measures.

• Manage networking and security components such as VLAN, routing, firewalls, and NSX-T.

• Handle backup solutions for VMware, including solutions like CommVault.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across network, storage, and security divisions to align infrastructure strategies.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).

• Hands-on expertise with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), SDDC, vSAN, NSX-T.

• Strong knowledge of HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and vSAN.

• Experience with automation/orchestration tools like vRealize Automation.

• Knowledge of networking and security (VLAN, routing, firewall, NSX-T).

• Experience with monitoring tools such as vRealize Operations.

• Background in backup solutions for VMware (e.g., CommVault).

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Advanced VMware certifications such as VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, VCAP, or VCF.

• Skills in scripting or automation (PowerCLI, Python).

• Familiarity with storage and network infrastructure integration.

• Knowledge of enterprise backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Language Required for the role:

• Polish – Communicative proficiency needed for technical documentation and support.
