Summary: This position is for a Commvault expert to assist with the design, build, and primarily migration activities of DB2 backup data from the current backup solution to Commvault, emphasizing data integrity and security within a banking context.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage knowledge and experience with Commvault backup tool.

• Perform backup data migrations and rollback if necessary.

• Validate data integrity and restore capability post-migration.

• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance.

• Document migration and rollback procedures.

• Understand data security and retention policies.

Must Haves:

• Experience supporting backup and data migration activities, including execution and validation.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise backup tools and data protection best practices.

• Ability to support release and restore testing, including data validation.

• Familiarity with release cycles and change management.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with cloud-based backup solutions.

• Knowledge of database management, specifically DB2.
