Data Quality Assurance

About your role:

We are looking for a Data Quality Assurance Specialist – someone curious, precise, and eager to explore the world of Hotel data.

Your main goal will be to ensure the quality of hotel information in our global database and communicate potential issues to business stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who likes to experiment, automate, and find smarter ways of doing things.

If you are the kind of person who enjoys solving puzzles, testing new tools, or writing simple scripts to make life easier, you’ll fit right in. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to learn, explore, and try.

Your key responsibilities:

• Curiosity and a “how can I make this better?” mindset

• Positive and proactive attitude – you don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do

• Ability to find (sometimes hidden) information online

• Good English skills (no need for perfection)

• Attention to detail – you spot patterns and inconsistencies easily

• Communicative and independent – you enjoy teamwork but can also take ownership

• Interest in technology, automation, or data tools (AI tools, Excel, Google Sheets, Python, C#, or web scrapers – all are welcome!)

What you will do:

• Perform daily quality checks on large sets of hotel data

• Search for missing or outdated information online and update the database

• Detect patterns and suggest ways to automate repetitive tasks

• Collaborate with the development team — report bugs, suggest improvements, and test data-related fixes

• Experiment with simple automation tools or AI assistants to make your work more efficient

• Be a data detective – solving mysteries behind every missing or inconsistent hotel record

• Weekly reports on issues and/or progress
