Job description

We are looking for a Lead – Supplier Quality Assurance professional who will play a key role in maintaining high quality standards across supplier components used in production.

In this role, you will act as the main link between suppliers and internal production teams, ensuring that supplier-related quality deviations are quickly identified, analyzed, and resolved with minimal impact on production, cost, and delivery timelines.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and finance, driving corrective actions with suppliers and improving quality processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding of manufacturing components, and the ability to coordinate quality initiatives across the organization.Project mode: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite in Szczecin) 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) related to supplier defects and ensure full end-to-end case resolution;

  • Coordinate activities required to close supplier quality issues with minimal disruption to production;

  • Analyze investigation results and verify non-compliance of production materials;

  • Supervise and review quality documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and checklists;

  • Create, assign, evaluate, and resolve cases within the NCR process lifecycle;

  • Work with suppliers to obtain and review 8D corrective action reports;

  • Collaborate with buyers and finance teams on cost recovery related to supplier defects (COPQ);

  • Support ongoing production activities by troubleshooting supplier-related issues;

  • Lead cross-functional meetings to identify root causes and implement corrective measures;

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ);

  • Ensure timely execution of non-conformity processes according to defined timelines;

  • Maintain communication with supplier management and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications: 

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field;

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality roles such as Supplier Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Development, or Quality Engineering;

  • Experience working in manufacturing environments involving welding, steel construction, machining, casting, or electrical components;

  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation such as drawings and specifications;

  • Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, PDCA, or A3;

  • Experience managing supplier quality issues and coordinating corrective actions;

  • Good understanding of quality processes and documentation in manufacturing environments;

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., D365).
