Job description

Andersen is hiring a Scrum Master with German to support agile delivery of scalable digital solutions for real-time network analysis and critical energy infrastructure operations. 

 

Our customer is a large infrastructure organization in the energy sector that operates and develops a critical transmission network. It ensures reliable system performance while supporting large-scale integration of renewable energy and focuses on digital solutions, data, and automation to optimize complex, mission-critical operations. 

 

The project is focused on developing and maintaining modular, scalable network analysis products that support automated, real-time grid and plant management. The solutions combine open-source and commercial technologies and provide a modern, user-friendly interface to help energy operators manage increasing network complexity.  


Responsibilities: 

  • Coaching the team on Scrum practices, self-organization, and backlog hygiene. 

  • Advising the Product Owner and ensuring smooth communication and meeting protocols. 

  • Identifying and removing obstacles, protecting the team from disruptions, and escalating unresolved issues. 

  • Moderating key Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, etc.). 

  • Supporting the development of high-quality increments and guiding the team on quality goals, unit tests, and CI/CD practices. 

  • Consulting on Scrum processes and defining "Definition of Ready," "Definition of Done," and user story workflows. 

  • Managing Azure DevOps administration and coordinating with PMO for user access management. 

  • Moderating cross-team activities, scaled Scrum events, and ensuring seamless coordination between teams. 

  • Driving continuous process improvement through retrospectives and agile environment stabilization. 

  • Fostering a productive and collaborative environment, both physically and virtually. 

  • Independently resolving obstacles and promoting agile principles across teams. 

 

Must-haves:  

  • Experience as a Scrum Master for 4+ years. 

  • Experience working with Scrum@Scale. 

  • Strong technical affinity and understanding of software development processes. 

  • Certification as a Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance), PSM I (Scrum.org), or Registered Scrum Master (Scrum Inc.). 

  • Strong facilitation skills, adept at moderating meetings and resolving conflicts. 

  • Collaboration mindset, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. - Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above. 

  • Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above. 

 

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Knowledge of software architecture/development. 

  • Certification as a Scrum@Scale Practitioner (Scrum Inc.).
