Rust Developer

Andersen is hiring a Rust Developer for a project building a cloud enterprise platform, ensuring scalable infrastructure, reliable operations, and efficient platform management. 

The customer is an international technology company focused on building scalable and reliable software solutions. The company works with complex systems and emphasizes stability, efficiency, and secure data handling across various environments. Its solutions are applied in areas where consistent performance and system dependability are important. 

The project is focused on enterprise platform development for a cloud-based solution, delivering a production-ready infrastructure and management dashboard to support scalable operations and efficient platform administration. 

Responsibilities: 

• Developing and maintaining backend services using Rust, ensuring reliability and good performance. 

• Implementing and supporting API‑driven functionality, including REST, gRPC, and WebSocket endpoints.

• Working on server-side logic, data processing flows, and integration of various service components. 

• Applying asynchronous programming approaches to build efficient and scalable features. 

• Contributing to performance improvement efforts, including optimization, benchmarking, and tuning. 

• Ensuring data correctness and consistency through proper validation and structured processing. 
   

Must-haves: 

• Experience working with Rust in production environments for 3+ years. 

• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and modern concurrency approaches. 

• Experience developing server-side applications and working with web frameworks in the Rust ecosystem. 

• Ability to design and maintain API-based services (REST, gRPC, WebSocket).

• Familiarity with building systems that require high performance and efficient data processing. 

• Understanding of approaches to optimizing backend services and improving throughput. 

• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Basic knowledge of data integrity concepts such as hashing and structured validation. 

• Experience working with distributed systems or multi-service architectures. 

• General familiarity with containerized environments and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). 

• Practical experience using relational databases and writing efficient queries. 

• Ability to write and maintain reliable tests for backend components. 

• Comfortable working with large codebases and complex technical domains.
