Andersen is hiring a OneShield Developer to support an international insurance company. The role focuses on integrating OneShield into existing systems to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance operations.

The project is focused on integrating OneShield into the client’s ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment with existing systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and support business operations.
Technology stack: OneShield Dragon Designer, Core Java, PL/SQL, XML, Oracle (10g/11g), Calligo, Ghostdraft, PVCS, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, QC, ServiceNow.
Responsibilities:
Developing, configuring, and customizing workflows, rating modules, UI components, and forms in OneShield Dragon Designer.
Implementing business rules, transformations, and integrations with external systems using Core Java, XML, and PL/SQL.
Designing and maintaining policy administration system components, including new business, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
Building and enhancing Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and scripts to support OneShield configurations.
Creating and maintaining insurance forms using Calligo, Ghostdraft, and MS Word bookmarks.
Participating in production deployment activities, resolving deployment issues, and supporting production environments.
Analyzing defects, identify root causes, and deliver timely fixes with proper unit testing.
Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to review requirements and validate solutions.
Preparing technical design documents, deployment guides, and code review documentation.
Performing application monitoring, log analysis, and debugging for production and QA environments.
Supporting migration and upgrades of OneShield systems, including document conversion projects.
Communicating progress, issues, and solutions with onsite teams and clients in Agile and Waterfall setups.
Must-haves:
Experience as a OneShield Developer for 3+ years.
Strong hands-on experience with OneShield Dragon Designer (UI, workflows, rating, forms, metadata configuration).
Proficiency in Core Java, PL/SQL, XML, and database development on Oracle (10g/11g).
Knowledge of P&C insurance domain (Commercial Lines, Personal Lines) and policy administration lifecycle.
Experience with document generation tools such as Calligo, Ghostdraft, and issuance tools.
Familiarity with version control tools (PVCS, GIT, Bitbucket) and deployment management.
Proven ability to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and implement enhancements.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including log analysis and root cause identification.
Understanding of SDLC processes and experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, QC, ServiceNow).
Strong communication skills to collaborate with onsite teams, BAs, QA, and clients.
Ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
Relevant certifications (Java SE Programmer, Oracle SQL Developer).
