AI Engineer (Streamlit)

Andersen is looking for an AI Developer for a project with a global energy company. The role involves creating AI solutions for document processing to support digital transformation and improve efficiency. 

The customer is a global energy technology company with a large international footprint, delivering solutions for power generation, transmission, and industrial electrification. Known for its focus on sustainability and innovation, the organization invests heavily in research and development to support decarbonization efforts, enhance energy reliability, and advance modern renewable and digital energy technologies. 

The project is focused on building an AI-powered document ingestion and content-extraction solution as part of a broader digital transformation initiative. It aims to automate how large volumes of documents are processed, using modern AI technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the organization. 

Responsibilities: 

- Designing and implementing RAG pipelines to enhance LLM performance, ensuring accurate and context-aware responses.  

- Developing AI-powered applications in Python, leveraging frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and related orchestration tools.  

- Building interactive prototypes and dashboards using Streamlit to demonstrate and validate AI workflows.  

- Applying NLP techniques for text extraction, classification, and semantic search across diverse document formats.  

- Integrating OCR and VLM solutions (e.g., Unstructured.io, Azure Document Intelligence, AWS Textract) into scalable data processing pipelines.  

- Managing cloud-native workflows on AWS, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization of AI services. 

Must-haves: 

- Hands-on Python development experience, with a strong focus on building robust, scalable systems for 5+ years.  

- Essential experience with streamlit.  

- Proficient with NLP. 

- Experience with AWS.  

- Familiar with OCR, VLMs, data extraction/parsing libraries like unstructured, llamaindex etc and vector/nosql databases like OpenSearch or MongoDb. 

- Proficiency in building RAG pipelines and experience with LLM. 

- Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across teams and document complex systems. 

- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
