Big Data/Data Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Big Data/Data Analyst to join our team in building a cutting-edge AI-driven educational technology platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable, high-performance, and secure data layer and data processing pipelines, with hands-on experience in both SQL and NoSQL environments. You need to have as well a strong data analytical mind.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data layer architectures optimized for scalability, performance, and security.

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data warehousing and analytics.

• Manage and integrate data from various sources to ensure consistency and accessibility.

• Collaborate with solution and infrastructure architects to implement data storage systems.

• Support advanced analytics and AI model training/inference through well-structured data solutions.

Required Experience:

• Strong data analytics skills. Familiar and experience with frameworks, libraries and cloud-based tools that accelerate data analytics.

• Experience in processing large volumes of data in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Proficient in constructing data processing pipelines (Apache Airflow, ETL processes)

• Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Firestore, MongoDB). Good uderstanding of data structures and experience in working with them.

• Proficiency in Python

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, BigQuery, DataBricks.

• Familiarity with n8n, Temporal

• Experience with BI dashboards and cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Metabase, Redash, Superset).

• Experience with tools that optimize performance of data reading (Redis, ElasticSearch).

• Business analytical skills

• Experience designing data solutions in microservices-based architectures.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes & Docker.

• Experience using databases as vector stores for AI applications.

• Familiarity with cloud-based file storage systems.

• Experiene in MLOps
