For our client from the financial sector, we are looking for a Senior Support Engineer (Russian speaker).
Responsibilities:
- Online consultation for corporate customers (international and local) on operational issues of EFT POS Terminal networks and software solutions (jira-tickets, email, phone). Android Apps and Proprietary Platform Apps for EFP POS terminals, Server software on Windows and Linux OS.
- Software deployment missions (remote and onsite – international trips).
- Software delivery: packages preparation, configuration and delivery via online tools. Maintenance of SW releases repository.
- Technical support on Integration projects (ECRs, petrol/fleet, vending machines, transportation etc) including requirements analysis, test equipment setup, integration tests on site.
- Training sessions for customers on our solutions (remote and onsite).
- Technical support for customers during UAT process, managing the reports of Issues & Requirements.
- Technical support for L3 certifications with payment systems (MasterCard, VISA etc.). Interaction with payment systems.
- Execution of L3 Certifications (MasterCard, VISA, AmEx, UPI) as professional service for customers.
- Investigation of complex technical issues coming from the field, interaction with Central team.
- Reports to development team: bug & issues, field experience, new requests for improvement.
- Building & maintenance of test environment SW/HW needed for Support ecosystem, administration of certification tools and security tools.
- Proactive interaction with customers: information on new SW deliveries, roadmaps.
- Providing actual SW packages to operation team for terminal customization procedures.
- Estimation of Support work for projects tasks on planning phase, definition of Support scope.
- Trainings for Support Engineers, mentoring of new joiners, participation in knowledge transfer between teams.
- Participation in projects expertise and Poof-of-Concept tasks.
- Cooperation with Development and Technical Support teams.
If you possess...
- Good communications skills (English + Russian).
- Engineering mindset, capability to perform technical investigations and testing.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical support of desktop applications and client-server systems.
- Good knowledge of software administration and understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Good knowledge on administrating of Windows, base knowledge of Linux.
- Good understanding of wireless communication, USB/RS232 connection principals.
- Base knowledge on communication equipment: modems, switches/routers.
- Good internetworking knowledge: TCP/IP, Eth framing, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs.
- Experience with diagnostic tools, Wireshark.
- Base cryptography knowledge (symmetric/asymmetric).
- Experience in creating and updating of technical documentation.
- Experience in Jira, Confluence, bug tracking systems.
- Knowledge of payment transactions principals.
- Base knowledge of EMV technology.
- Base knowledge of financial protocols.
- Base SQL knowledge (MS SQL, MySQL), experience in database administration.
- Good knowledge of EMV technology and financial transaction protocols.
- Understanding of PCI requirements and payment systems requirements.
Nice to have:
- Base knowledge of any programming language (C/C++/Java/Pyton).
