System Analyst

Hi! We’re looking for a System Analyst to join a key banking project focused on modernizing credit processes for business clients.

Location: 100% Remote

Start date: September

Form of cooperation: B2B or CoE (Contract of Employment)

About the Project

We’re working with a leading banking client on the development and enhancement of modular applications supporting credit processes for business customers. The system architecture is microservice-based and built using Domain Driven Design. The project covers both front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on performance, testability, and integration.

The teams work in Scrum (2–3 week sprints), with full CI/CD, automated testing, and regular performance analysis using Gatling.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct system analysis and technical design for banking applications

• Model functionality and integrations (UML, BPMN)

• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and IT stakeholders

• Define and document REST API and external system integrations

• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation

• Gather and translate requirements into system specifications

• Support developers during implementation: clarify requirements, analyze bugs, support integration tests

• Perform manual functional and integration testing

• Manage and prioritize technical backlog

Must-Have

• 3–5 years of experience as System/IT Analyst

• Hands-on experience with SQL (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)

• Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, pgAdmin

• Experience with REST API design, Swagger/Postman, and technologies like Kafka

• Proficiency in UML/BPMN and tools like Enterprise Architect or similar

• Ability to define system requirements (user stories, tech specs)

• Experience in Agile teams: working with developers, testers, DevOps

• Good command of English in a technical project setting

• Self-organized, communicative, and able to manage priorities in the team’s backlog

Nice to Have

• Background in banking or financial systems

• Testing: TDD, test coverage >80%, Selenium/Cypress
