WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

• Collaborating with key business stakeholders to fully understand requirements before initiating design and implementation
• Developing detailed technical designs for components in line with business requirements and overall technical architecture
• Working with external consultants on technical and graphical design aspects
• Implementing modern technical solutions based on agreed designs, adhering to industry-standard development practices (including continuous integration, unit testing, and integration testing)
• Conducting comprehensive testing of implemented solutions before handing them over to User Acceptance Testing
• Supporting the deployment process of components in development and test environments
• Participating in daytime and overnight support shifts (if required)

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

Technical Requirements:

• Solid experience in server-side Java development
• Proficiency in multi-threaded development
• Proven experience working with highly available, multi-threaded, distributed systems
• Experience in developing and optimizing low-latency systems
• Experience in algorithmic execution and pricing of FX spot or Equities transactions

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Ability to write technical documentation
• Effective collaboration with Front Office, Production Support teams, and other IT departments within the bank

Business Knowledge:

• Understanding of trading desks' operations in a large, multi-site investment bank with a significant eCommerce offering
• Foreign exchange trading in a high-frequency, low-latency environment
• Experience working on enterprise systems while delivering business requirements in an agile manner
• FX spot market conventions
• FX forward market conventions
