Join our team supporting continuous service for Oracle-based applications within the banking environment. We’re looking for a seasoned Database Engineer to help manage and enhance complex production and pre-production environments.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare prePROD environment for FSFO activation

• Synchronize and troubleshoot DataGuard issues; rebuild standby databases as needed

• Create and validate PDB-level services

• Migrate old PDBs to new containers; activate FSFO

• Perform switchover and failover tests in prePROD

• Apply database-level patches

• Implement OS-level changes (Unix processes, load management, daemons)

• Handle RAC and DR-related issues

• Set up Oracle GoldenGate microservices and OEM

• Execute changes in PROD environments

  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing Oracle databases (12c to 19c), including RAC and DataGuard

• Strong Linux OS experience

• Good knowledge of Oracle tools (RMAN, Data Pump)

• Solid understanding of architecture design principles

• Hands-on experience in production RAC (ASM) environments (19c)

• Self-starter with strong attention to detail

• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate (process flow, downstream DBs, start/stop)

• Good knowledge of storage, FSFO troubleshooting, and observers

• Familiarity with IT processes (Change Management, Incident Management)

• Experience handling Oracle SRs and managing OEM metrics
