Role Overview
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Product Owner will be responsible for shaping, designing, and delivering Dynamics 365 solutions that support client servicing and operational efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, translating requirements into scalable technical solutions while owning the product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, working closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality CRM solutions. This position requires strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly Customer Servicing and Marketing modules, alongside the ability to drive best practices and influence solution design.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Dynamics 365 solutions
Work with business stakeholders and analysts to gather requirements and provide technical design guidance
Translate business needs into scalable solutions within Dynamics 365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem
Lead discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define solution architecture and delivery approach
Provide best practice recommendations and solution alternatives during functional design
Design and support implementation of Dynamics 365 customisations, configurations, and integrations
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and delivery teams
Participate in solution delivery including configuration, workflows, dashboards, and automation
Support project planning activities including scope definition and estimates where required
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of CRM initiatives
Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes
Key Skills & Experience
Strong experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role within Microsoft Dynamics 365
Proven experience building product vision, roadmap, and backlog
Hands-on experience implementing and customising Dynamics 365 solutions
Experience with Customer Servicing and Marketing (Customer Insights) modules
Ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Experience creating functional specifications including customisations, integrations, and data migration
Strong background in CRM configuration including forms, views, dashboards, and workflows
Experience working across business and technical stakeholder groups
Proven ability to deliver innovative solutions to complex business challenges
Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Desirable
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
Knowledge of SharePoint and broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Experience with Power BI and data analysis
Understanding of SQL and data structures
Background in financial services environments
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
