Tech Operations/IAM Engineer

Our client is a global investment firm based in Stockholm, specializing in private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and equity funds.

Due to growth and the need to establish a structure in Warsaw, we are building a local team and seeking experienced professionals.

Currently we are looking for a Tech Operations Engineer responsible for identity and access management (IAM), user and system administration and operational efficiency within our IT environment. This role will also involve optimizing IT processes and security configurations to enhance system reliability and organizational productivity.

Location: Warsaw city center, hybrid work (3 days in the office per week)

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and optimize IAM solutions to ensure secure authentication and authorization.
• Manage user provisioning, access control, and security policies across Okta, Microsoft 365 and related platforms. 
• Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents and compliance requirements
• Oversee and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online
• Work with Okta, including Authentication Policies, Role Based Access and Workflows
• Manage and enhance SharePoint site structures, permissions, and integrations to support business collaboration
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications and troubleshoot user issues related to access and configuration
• Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure configurations and automate provisioning in cloud environments
• Maintain and improve identity and infrastructure automation workflows using Terraform and scripting languages
• Monitor system performance, security, and availability, ensuring proactive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Support operational incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures

Expectations

• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Okta Identity Engine, and other cloud services.
• Deep understanding of IAM principles, including identity lifecycle management, access controls, and security policies.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure and automation workflows.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting IT issues related to identity management, system performance, and security.
• Knowledge of IT operations best practices, including monitoring, patch management, and incident response.
• Experience working with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages for automation.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with additional IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity) and integration with Microsoft and Okta environments.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Workato, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, such as Azure or AWS, and best practices for cloud security.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Terraform Associate, ITIL Certification).
• Experience managing IAM systems in enterprise-scale environments.
