Security Engineer

About the role

Together with your colleagues in the Cyber Defense Team, you will be responsible for protecting our IT infrastructure – particularly in the areas of endpoint detection and continuous monitoring. Your role requires a high level of ownership and reliability. Resilience, flexibility, a willingness to learn, and a sound understanding of security in the context of a financial institution are essential. You can communicate complex technical topics in a clear and understandable way and find pragmatic solutions in complex situations. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, along with a calm demeanor in stressful situations, round out your profile.

• You will manage our endpoint detection solutions and continuously develop our security monitoring across various technologies.
• Your responsibilities will range from the development of strategic concepts to solving operational issues.

Your ideal background and skillset:

• Several years of professional experience as a Security Engineer, with hands-on involvement in designing and implementing IT security solutions
• Proven experience in deploying endpoint security technologies on both tactical and operational levels – including antivirus, EDR/XDR, device management, and whitelisting
• Ideally, in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft security toolset (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, etc.)
• Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
• Network Detection & Response (NDR), SIEM
• Vulnerability management, attack surface management
• Application security, security baselining
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Operating systems: Windows and Linux
• Degree in computer science
