Our client is a global investment firm based in Stockholm, specializing in private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and equity funds.
Due to growth and the need to establish a structure in Warsaw, we are building a local team and seeking experienced professionals.
Currently we are looking for a Tech Automation Engineer focused on automation, integration, and data engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for managing advanced automation workflows using Workato, optimizing cloud databases such as Snowflake, and supporting the company’s technical infrastructure.
Location: Warsaw city center, hybrid work (3 days in the office per week)
- Design, implement, and maintain automation workflows using Workato.
- Ensure that automation processes are scalable, reliable, and meet business requirements.
- Automate solutions to common issues encountered by the Tech Support team.
- Manage and optimize Snowflake databases.
- Ensure database performance, availability, and data integrity.
- Build and manage data pipelines using DBT.
- Support efficient data operations and reporting.
- Continuously analyze and improve existing workflows through automation.
- Identify and reduce manual processes, increasing operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with data engineering, IT, and operations teams to fulfill business requirements.
- Translate business needs into automated workflows and integrations.
- Document automation processes and create troubleshooting guides.
- Train team members and users on automation tools and workflows.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in tech operations, automation, or integration roles.
- Hands-on experience with Workato for designing complex automation workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake cloud databases.
- Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation.
- Proficiency in SQL for writing queries and managing data.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly for resolving escalated issues.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Tray.io, MuleSoft).
- Experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
- Familiarity with best practices in cloud infrastructure security.
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Financial transparency: the salary is: 26 880 - 32 760 PLN (160 -195 PLN/h) + VAT
