Senior (Technical Lead) MLOps (pharma; fully remote)

About project

We are looking for a Technical Lead MLOps to oversee the technical delivery and strategic direction of the ECAS DS to Triple AI/ML Studio migration effort. This role will require a deep understanding of the existing and target platforms, strong leadership capabilities, and expertise in managing large-scale migrations. The role spans for Phase 2 (full-scale migration of nine projects). The ideal candidate will act as the primary technical authority, ensuring the migration aligns with business objectives and technical standards.

Tech stack: ECAS DS, AI/ML frameworks, cloud-based solutions, SageMaker, Kubeflow, Python, Gitlab CI, CI/CD

Fully remote job. Can be a part time project!

Requirements

• Demonstrate experience leading complex technical migrations, particularly in AI/ML or data platform environments
• Hands-on expertise with ECAS DS, AI/ML frameworks and cloud-based solutions       
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, governance processes and best practices for platform migrations
• Expertise in tools and platforms like SageMaker, Kubeflow or equivalent AI/ML ecosystems
• Advanced coding skills in Python
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitLab CI
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
