Senior Business Analyst

About the Project

For our Client - a global logistics company we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible for Portfolio & BAU Assessment.

You will deliver a complete and structured view of the BAU activities and small projects run across 30 core teams. Your focus will be on capturing dependencies, business value, budget, risks, and tech readiness.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead structured discovery activities across 30 teams

• Develop and maintain a Portfolio Tracker

• Evaluate strategic alignment and assess KPI/data availability

• Provide support for classification and prioritisation decisions

Expectations

• Min. 8 years of experience in Business Analyst role

• Discovery & Documentation Excellence – Ability to lead structured discussions across diverse teams, extract key insights, and document them clearly and consistently. Proven experience creating templates, guides, trackers, and high-quality meeting notes

• Business–Technology Connector – Understanding both business needs and technical realities, translating BAU/platform activities into clear business value narratives and strategic alignment

• Portfolio Structuring & Value Management – Skills in defining segmentation logic (e.g., strategic vs. operational initiatives), building prioritization matrices, and aligning resources, costs, and value. Ability to assess dependencies, risks, and expected outcomes

• Interviewing Proficiency – Strong, focused questioning skills to quickly uncover insights from stakeholders

• English on an advanced level (min. C1)

• Nice to have: Solid understanding of IT Ops processes and environments; Experience with cost-to-value mapping or driver-based budgeting approaches; Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, ITIL, and other operational frameworks
