DevOps (AWS and Data Warehouse)

We are expanding the competence center for one of the largest Nordic energy groups, following its strategic transition to AWS as the primary cloud provider. We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Consultant with a strong focus on Data Warehouse infrastructure, supporting the data teams in designing, building, and optimizing AWS-based DWH environments.

Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days in the Warsaw office (Chmielna 73)

Job Responsibilities

• Building, optimizing, and maintaining AWS Data Warehouse infrastructure,

• Developing secure, scalable, well‑documented environments based on Amazon Redshift,

• Enhancing the current design and automation for DWH workloads,

• Creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform,

• Supporting multi-account setups within AWS Organizations,

• Implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines,

• Mentoring team members, sharing best practices, and supporting their AWS growth,

• Collaborating with cross‑functional data engineering and cloud architecture teams.

  
  

Expectations

• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure,

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, proficiency with Terraform,

• Experience working in multi-account AWS Organizations,

• Experience in CI/CD,

• Proven experience building and optimizing AWS Data Warehouse infrastructure, especially Redshift (security, performance, data loading, optimization),

• The ability to guide and implement best practices in cost optimization, observability, and performance,

• Excellent communication and mentoring skills,

• Fluent English,

• Familiarity with Agile,

• Nice-to-have: experience with migration projects, S3, Glue, GitHub, GitHub Actions, jfrog, Python, knowledge of data governance or security aspects, multi‑cloud experience (AWS + Azure).
