Data Specialist

Our client is a company that puts data to work, solving complex challenges for the world’s leading brands and agencies. 

We are looking for the specialist who liaises with UK Sales Support function to understand and to enhace requirements with processes in order to produce datasets for delivery to the client. The Solutions Developer is a member of the Data Delivery team responsible for the day to day delivery of data to company's clients.

Start: ASAP

End: December 2026 with possibility of extension

Tasks

• Point-of-contact for internal clients with business solution definition through client briefs (requirements).

• Provide quality assurance of work completed by other team members to ensure that requirements are met, data quality and security checks are compliant.

• Develop, maintains and improves internal client relationship through increased communications. Executes and analyzes decision support processes and data to ensure data accuracy, data integrity, operations performance, customer satisfaction, and cost effectiveness.

• Ensure compliance with established procedures, project requirements and service level agreements through audits.Maintains a broad understanding of company's processing and product capabilities and utilizes that understanding to ensure client requirements and service levels are achieved.

• Provide ownership to the research process of multiple technical operations / services. Provides data, analysis, and recommendations to support multiple technical operations, assuring client satisfaction.

• Liaison with multi-channel partners, providing question support and new set up for transfer and encryption.Provides assistance to requested ad hoc projects.

• Participate in change management process for existing solutions which may include, but is not limited to, solution, tool and process changes.

• Provide issue resolution which may include, but is not limited to, tool errors that require escalation and data integrity issues.

• Document and conducts performance monitoring and tuning for user applications and environments

• Maintain subject matter expertise in designated accounts and processes

Expectations

• Understanding of best practices, framework, and design principals in at least 2 of the following areas:SQL / PL –SQL, Perl, UNIX / LINUX command and scripting

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role

• Strong understanding of relational database design and application

• Knowledge of Information Technology practices. Very broad Specific Data Industry knowledge is desired

• Demonstrated ability to own / drive communicate with clients and internal stakeholders – answering complex questions, resolving issues, conducting research for client marketing team including marketing management

• Attention to detail, important to monitor and audit

• Proficient in shared team work execution, such as campaign execution or testing capabilities

• Strong communication skills

• Manage multiple clients requirements

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Make initiative and self-directed for implementing changes/improvements
