Senior DevOps Engineer

Office location: Gdańsk or remote with occasional office visits - depending on the candidate’s location

Employment type: Full-time employment contract, 25 000 - 35 000 PLN gross, long-term, directly with the client

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us build, improve, and maintain a modern cloud infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and enhance continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Tackle complex optimization challenges across development and deployment processes.

• Collaborate closely with software teams to ensure smooth and efficient development workflows.

• Work with architecture and hardware teams on cross-functional initiatives.

• Design and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services.

• Deploy, manage, and support both production and development environments in the cloud.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Strong experience with Linux-based systems.

• Proven track record in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating release processes.

• Familiarity with workflows like GitHub Actions and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code.

• Solid understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware, KVM, and Vagrant.

• Experience with configuration management tools (Packer, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt).

• Programming skills in Python, Go, or Rust.

• Knowledge of load balancing, scalability techniques, and infrastructure automation.

• Experience with tools such as Docker, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS solutions.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Previous experience in a hardware-focused company is a plus.
