DevOps Enigneer / Platform Engineer

Office location: Gdańsk or remote with occasional office visits - depending on the candidate’s location

Employment type: Full-time employment contract, 25 000 - 35 000 PLN gross, long-term, directly with the client

Domain: Semiconductors / Advanced AI systems

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us build, improve, and maintain a modern cloud infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure supporting HPC and AI workloads

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for scalable, reliable, and secure deployments

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments (Docker/K8s)

• Develop and maintain internal platform tools (CLI tools, automation scripts, operators)

• Implement and maintain observability systems using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and hardware teams to deliver integrated solutions

• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security across environments

• Participate in the full lifecycle of distributed systems, from design to deployment and monitoring

• Stay up to date with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and automation tools

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience

• Strong Linux skills

• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, GitOps, IaC

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)

• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)

• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures (nice-to-have)

• Ability to design scalable, cloud-native solutions for HPC and AI workloads, ensuring reliability, security, and performance

Nice to have:

• Experience building Kubernetes operators/controllers

• Background in HPC or AI infrastructure

• Additional requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent

• Experience with complex distributed systems

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proactive, adaptable, eager to learn new technologies
