At our office in Gdańsk Wrzeszcz we do not produce butter or cheese, nor do we conduct milk quality assessment. We are Global Shared Services Center and we deliver tens of projects in Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, Risk, and Compliance.
You probably know Arla from brands like Lurpak, Castello or Apetina. What you might not know is that many of the systems behind those products are developed and supported by engineers working in Gdańsk.
At Arla Global Shared Services, technology powers operations across 90+ markets, from supply chain and logistics to finance, procurement and data platforms. Teams here build systems that keep global operations running smoothly, with technologies such as: Java, .NET, Python, SAP, Salesforce, Databricks, Azure, Power BI, Cisco and Palo Alto.
The Gdańsk office is where a lot of everyday work at Arla comes together.
It’s a place where people connect across functions, share knowledge and solve problems together.
So while Arla is known for dairy products, this is where a lot of what keeps them moving actually happens.

Inspired by Scandinavian working culture, teams collaborate closely, share knowledge openly and focus on solving problems together.
You will work with colleagues across different countries and business areas, from logistics and finance to data and supply chain.
Instead of building isolated products, we develop systems that support everyday operations of a global organisation.
Growth at Arla happens through real engineering work. Developers gain experience working with Java, .NET, Python, SAP, Salesforce, Databricks, Azure, Power BI, Microsoft 365, Cisco and Palo Alto.
Through collaboration with experienced engineers, data specialists and international teams, you gain constantly and leaders? They are approachable and actively support engineers in solving problems and developing new skills.
Instead of rigid hierarchies, teams follow a Scandinavian way of working, open, supportive and based on trust.

Arla is a farmer-owned cooperative, connecting farmers, production, logistics and markets around the world. Technology teams in Gdańsk help keep that ecosystem running.
Systems developed here support global processes, from supply chain coordination to financial operations and data analytics.
The work engineers do here has impact on how everyday dairy products reach millions of people.
Work at Arla tends to feel a little more balanced. Lunch breaks are part of the working day, overtime is rare and people are trusted to organise their time responsibly.
The structure is simple and approachable. Managers are part of the team and everyone’s
voice matters, regardless of role or seniority.
Flexibility is part of everyday life. You can start your day between 7 and 9 a.m. and finish between 3 and 5 p.m.. And when there is something worth celebrating, the whole office gets involved - because creating a positive workplace is something we build together.

The Arla IT Graduate Programme is a two-year international programme designed for graduates starting their careers in technology. Participants work on engineering projects while collaborating with global IT teams across Arla.
During the programme you gain experience in areas such as:
• software development
• enterprise platforms and integrations
• data and analytics
• cloud infrastructure
Graduates work with technologies used across the organisation.
The programme combines hands-on project work, mentorship and exposure to international teams, helping graduates build a strong foundation for a career in technology.
From the first contact, we ensure clear communication and quick feedback. You go through several stages that allow us to get to know each other better and jointly assess whether we're a good fit.
Besides building technology that supports a global dairy company, we also try to make everyday work simply comfortable.
We build and improve systems that keep everyday things moving, from milk on the road to data behind the scenes.
