Role Description
Base was one of the first companies that made Ruby its main programming language. It's also main programming language of Zendesk worldwide. We deploy Ruby services seven times a day and 84 out of 142 services ouf our product - Zendesk Sell are Ruby.

Skills and experience we are looking for
Skills and experience we are looking for
- Basic experience with Ruby (either commercial or private)
- Knowledge of SQL of some flavour and aware of key concepts like schema, indexing
- Building Rails-based applications and JSON APIs
- High customer empathy and focus on the value delivered to clients
- Strong belief in writing tests
- Eagerness to learn tons of new things
Nice to have
- Familiarity with NoSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka
- Experience with SOA applications
