    About the role: 


    The Systems Administrator will work with servers on both physical and virtual environments as the primary focus, but there will also be Data Center responsibilities. These will include unpacking and racking equipment, cabling, documenting and troubleshooting with other teams as needed.


     What you will get to do:



    • Work independently and lead independent projects within a fast paced environment.
    • Manage team queues in our ticketing system.
    • Design, plan, and coordinate the implementation of various versions of Linux Server.
    • Design, Plan, support and coordination for the VMware Infrastructure ( ESXi Hardware, VCenter, VRA).
    • Monitor and provide reporting/metrics on all Linux Servers and Data Center resources (power, cooling, and space).
    • Rack/Stack Data Center equipment.
    • Make, run and document data cabling.
    • Decommission and remove/relocate data equipment.
    • Handle incoming shipments and track assets through deployment.
    • Hardware Failure Troubleshooting/Replacement.
    • Provide remote hands-on for clients; card swaps, cable moves, reboots, etc.
    • Maintain spares inventory.
    • Keep track of developing trends in technologies.
    • This job will require split time between systems administration and data center responsibilities.


    Who we are looking for:


    • 2-3 years of experience as a Linux systems administrator.
    • 2-3 years of experience as a data center technician, or similar.
    • Be self-motivated and able to work successfully with a team to achieve common goals.
    • Proficient in scripting.
    • Proficient at Excel spreadsheets.
    • Experienced with VMWare environments
    • Work with Tier I/II support desks by creating/updating support run books and working on escalations at the Tier III/IV level.
    • Engage with vendors to resolve issues.
    • Utilize a framework for monitoring tools, escalating key issues, and ensure timely implementation of services.
    • Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure (Run, Build, operate and maintain).
    • Addressing escalation Server/Client issue, and thereby maintain system and service availability as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
    • Handling all the issues, server alerts related to Linux, VMware, AWS and Storage infrastructure.
    • Candidate should be well versed with replication technologies at VCenter level to support DR environments.
    • Troubleshooting complex Linux, VMware issues and ensure lead from front until resolved.
    • Provide end-to-end root cause analysis and assistance for issues related to on premise Linux, VMware and AWS Infrastructure.
    • Knowledge on converged infrastructure like Nutanix, Cisco UCS.
    • Knowledge on storage platforms (HP 3PAR and EMC Isilon) would be added advantage.
    • Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors.
    • Willingness to respond to network and server errors after hours.
    • Cabling, installing servers, troubleshooting/diagnostic skills are must haves.
    • Exceptional technical communication skills.
    • Windows Server experience a plus.
    • Work both independently, with little supervision, as well as in a team environment.
    • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Experience with HP blade chassis, HP Onboard Administrator and HP servers a plus.
    • Knowledge of basic networking and TCP/IP concepts.
    • Ability to lift 20+kg
    • Commvault experience a plus.
    • Live within 45 minutes of the Warsaw office.
    • Ability to travel to different data center locations.
