We've multiple open Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer roles (with potential Team Lead opportunities) for talented engineers with at least 4 years commercial experience

Our goal at Webdoctor is to optimise clinical communication. We build Virtual Clinics like www.webdoctor.ie, that enable medicine to be delivered efficiently online and offline to hundreds of thousands of people.
We believe that the future of medical care lies in providing software to assist clinicians do a better job and we want you to help us make that a reality.
This job is for you if you:
- Have at least 4 years in Ruby on Rails experience
- Are a “full stack” engineer who can deliver functionality end to end
- Have following expertise in these technologies
- Excellent knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework
- Good knowledge of CSS / HTML5 (bonus if you also know HAML)
- Good knowledge of JS (bonus if you know Stimulus or Hotwire frameworks)
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Writing tests in RSpec
- Have a solid understanding of the basics of Object Oriented Programming
- Have a love for problem solving and programming
- Commercial experience of Agile Development
- Comfortable reviewing code and mentoring peers / junior developers
- Have excellent spoken and written English
- Are able to work Monday to Friday within our core office hours of 10:00 to 16:00 GMT
- Are based in EU
Bonus if you have experience with or use:
- Stimulus and / or Hotwire JS frameworks
- HAML templating engine
- DevOps experience (Ansible / Docker / Kubernetes)
Candidates will need to physically work from within the EU so they can access production systems
