We are now looking for a QA Engineer who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. In order to achieve this, you will be working together with the Product Owner, UX/UI Designer, Architect, and Developers.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Acquiring domain knowledge
• Understanding requirements and creating test scenarios describing how to do QA on these
• Creating test plans covering all quality aspects of a product or product area
• Defining more complex and dependent test scenarios
• Manual testing (70%) and automated testing (30%) of user interface
• Incorporate tests into build pipelines
• Ensure adequate test coverage
• Documentation of test results, creating feedback/defects in backlog tool, and communicate daily with development team and product owners

What you need to succeed:

• Experience in software testing working on agile development project methodology, e.g. SCRUM
• Experience with git-based version control systems like GitHub (handling branches and tags)
• Experience in continuous integration/deployment and DevOps mindset
• Experience with a tool for automated testing, e.g. QF-Test tool or other
• Knowledge about XML and XML files
• Preferable ISTQB certification or similar
• Advanced communication skills in English both spoken and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with or willingness to work with desktop applications
