IoT Integration & Validation team is a distributed team working based out of Poland, Germany, Spain and even India. Team is responsible for securing no harm to network and to provide the best customer experience throughout certification activities.
Team members are involved in numerous customer IoT project and also for integration and testing activities of network elements (packet gateways, connectivity platforms, BSS/OSS systems etc.)

Responsibilities:

Your role will be to enable high quality M2M / IoT device products to be launched in time across the Deutsche Telekom footprint national markets. You will be part of Deutsche Telekom’s International IoT Hardware team


  • Direct interface to Tier 1 and Tier 2 chipset/module suppliers in order to coordinate and execute 3GPP certification activities for the Deutsche Telekom group – 40%
  • Serve as mobile connectivity technology expert, with responsibilities including the technical assessment of 5G (NSA/SA) / LTE / IMS (VoLTE) and legacy solutions and component integration to Campus Private networks – 20%
  • Analyze 3GPP protocol implementation, conformance and performance on live network and laboratory environments, as well as simulators (e.g. Rohde & Schwarz CMW500, CMX500, Anite etc.) – 20%
  • Support customer troubleshooting activities, often in direct dialog and investigation with customer interfaces – 10%
  • Experience defining technical and functional product requirements, managing customer specifications and/or guidelines, tracking the market development and competition situation – 10%

What do you bring?

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with hardware hands on experience. Requirements specification or 3GPP architecture knowledge are welcome.


  • Deep understanding and troubleshooting capabilities on NAS, Layer 3 radio protocols and mobile network air interface. Good understanding of 3GPP standards; Ability to use the reference documentation from various sources (3GPP/GSMA);
  • Testing and troubleshooting skills;
  • Knowledge of LTE and 5G NSA/SA, IMS technologies;
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently;
  • Assertive and proactive attitude;
  • Technical & communicative English is a must.

Nice to have:


  • Knowledge of Low Power Wide Area IoT technologies (NB-IoT, LTE-M) is nice to have;
  • Previous experience from EPC/MME and/or RAN is nice to have.
