Full Stack (Java+PHP)

Job description

Our client is building an App and an interactive platform built like a single page application (SPA) for the web, long before that was even a well-known concept. This means quite a lot of front-end logic, and a back-end written in PHP to validate input, perform CRUD operations and manage persistence through MySQL. This state is then picked up by the actual book rendering engine which is written in Java - rendering the project book either in JPEG form for the live project view that the user sees while working on their book - or as a PDF when the book has been finalized and ordered.

For most of the problems we are solving or ideas that we bring to life, the ability to quickly execute and iterate on these ideas is of highest importance. There are however a few set of problems and projects that require more concern and a deeper understanding about system architecture, technology choices and all the aspects and costs of the choices made. With that said, we are looking for a consultant in development who is able to execute on these ideas, not just present them at the drawing board.

Skillets: 
We are thus looking for mid developer/s to help us out in both certain projects where a more thorough analysis of the problem at hand is required but also maintaining a functioning and stable system/App.

Our ideal consultant fulfills the following:

✔️Extensive knowledge of Java (multi-threaded application design, optimizations, etc)

✔️Extensive knowledge of database design (MySQL)

✔️Experience with PHP

✔️Experience of JavaScript and front-end development

✔️Knowledge of image processing and/or printing is beneficial

APP: The app is built in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
