DESCRIPTION
As an Associate Data Scientist you will take part in shaping Syncron’s flagship product by building predictive maintenance models. You will become part of the Engineering Team, collaborate closely with other Data Scientists, as well as with Software Engineers and Product Owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, evaluate, improve and deploy predictive maintenance models and perform feature engineering.
- Work with anomaly detection, regression and classification models.
- Create solutions efficiently processing large amounts of data.
- Design and implement metrics for model evaluation.
- Develop prototypes.
- Implement new libraries and frameworks as extensions to an existing pipeline.
- Continuously learn about the science of predictive maintenance and practical challenges of IoT.
- Spread knowledge and understanding of new solutions within the team and communicate externally.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant university degree (Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent)
- Ability to implement machine learning model training pipeline
- Good acquaintance with basic mathematical and statistical notions
- Programming in Python
- Data processing skills
- [nice to have] Experience in building neural networks with Tensorflow
- [nice to have] Experience with NoSQL databases or AWS
- [nice to have] Familiarity with Big Data techniques
- [nice to have] Experience in development of production software, preferably in Python
- [nice to have] Experience with numpy, pandas or similar library
