Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an Automation QA Engineer in Poland with 3 - 5 years of experience in building Selenium, Protractor frameworks to join our client's Frontend Web Trader Automation team from Kraków. The Web Trader team is responsible to develop UI web automation using the in-house API. They also integrate with internal and third-party solutions. You will be working as part of a scrum team, focused on high-quality deliverables to meet business requirements.

- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of QA practices and processes.
- Experience in testing web applications.
- Experience in working in an Agile environment and BDD.
- Experience in testing financial applications especially Trading platforms, services and reporting solutions.
- Experience in working in all phases of software testing right from requirements analysis up till QA/UAT sign off and release to production.
- Strong in Programming fundamentals and ability to program in at least in one programming language: JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/C#.
- Basic SQL skills.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and XPath.
- Experience in test automation using a BDD tool preferably Cucumber.
- Experience in automation toolsets like Protractor, Selenium.
- Experience in building, deploying and releasing software by working with developers.
- Experience in working with version control, build, deployment and test management tools like Github, TFS, Bitbucket, TeamCity and JIRA.
Nice to have:
- Experience in testing financial or trading applications.
- Experience in building tools and utilities for automating testing tasks.
- Good business/financial knowledge especially Trading CFDs, Spreadbetting and Forex.
- Experience in automating User Interface testing using Selenium.
- Experience testing Webservices and Windows services.
Responsibilities:
- Create test cases, BDD specifications and data (manual and automated).
- Ensure that adequate test coverage is provided.
- Execute test scripts, analyze and record results.
- Determine if the software will perform according to the user's request and conform to guidelines.
- Actively participate in sprint planning sessions and ensure requirements are clear and complete.
- Provide accurate estimation for sprint planning.
- Identify defects/anomalies and investigate their cause. Document and track these defects.
- Recommend improvements or corrections to developers or business analysts.
- Review computer logs and reports to identify program processing errors and possible improvements.
- Document high-level user guides and train others in new functional areas or software tools.
- Monitor multiple projects/software changes from concept to release and confirm correct behavior after release to live.
- Be responsible for all phases of testing across various test environments.
- Evaluate testing tools and software that can be implemented to aid QA and maximize testing coverage.
