We’re looking for Senior Python (Django) Developer to join one of our remote projects.
Sunscrapers is a consultancy specializing in custom software development, full-stack web development, data engineering, and technical staff augmentation.

The project:
We are carrying out the project for our client, an American private equity and investment management fund - listed on the Forbes 500 list - based in New York. We support them in the area of data pipeline, infrastructure and data engineering team. They operate very widely in the world of finance, loans, investments and real estate.
In the role of Senior Python (Django) Developer you’ll help create and build beautiful apps using:
TECHNOLOGIES
Python, Django, DRF, PostgreSQL, Redis, asyncio.
TOOLS
AWS, Kubernetes, Git, Docker, Gitlab
BEST PRACTICES
Continuous Integration, TDD, Scrum, Code Reviews.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Being a part of web development team that will set new trends in the company based on best practices
- Close cooperation with Data Science & Data Engineering departments
- Creating complex applications mostly for internal business
- Writing clean and well-covered code
Requirements
What’s important for us?
- Expertise in Python - at least 6 years of commercial experience
- Expert knowledge of Django and DRF
- Good knowledge of AWS (IAM, EKS, EBS, ECR, ELB, S3)
- Experience with designing and creating REST APIs
- Proficiency in using Docker and docker-compose
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Effective communication with clients and teammates
- Fluent command in spoken and written English and Polish
You will score extra points for:
- Understanding of Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Terraform, IaaC, Airflow, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks
- Experience with leading projects
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
- Experience in financial field
- Experience in data virtualization
