Python Developer (pharma; 100% remote)

About the Project

We are looking for Python Developer (with the knowledge of Spark) who will lead a critical infrastructure mission: transitioning one app's data warehouse to another platform. The candidate needs a good database background to handle data mapping and define the Spark pipelines necessary for the transition.In terms of technical skills, we are looking for proficiency in Python and SQL (as the environment is Spark-based).

Work Mode: 100% remote 

Duration of the project: long-term cooperation

Expectations

• At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a minimum of 2 years focused on Backend/Data engineering

• Strong experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB and SQL (PostgreSQL)

• High proficiency in Spark and Python is required to navigate the existing backend and build new data pipelines

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent cloud providers

• A commitment to clean code, test coverage, and building future-proof, scalable architectures

• Great written and verbal communication in English

• Nice to have: experience with medical, security, and privacy regulations (GDPR/HIPAA)
