STX Next is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of infrastructure operations and automation of processes in production environments. The person in this position will collaborate with software development teams and the IT department to ensure system performance, scalability, and security.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and managing tools for CI/CD process automation.
• Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Ensuring infrastructure security through the implementation of best practices and security tools.
• Optimizing system performance and scalability.
• Collaborating with software development teams to automate software development processes.
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to configuration and operational procedures.

Requirements

Must have:

• A proven experience in Cloud solutions in an engineering role, using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
• Extended experience in AKS, ECS.
• Experience in Configuration Management with good experience in at least two of the following orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt).
• Knowledge of security best practices and implementation in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
• Experience in using tools to define Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, etc).
• Fluent English (min. B2)

Nice to have:

• Good understanding of at least one programming language (C#, Python, Java, Go).
• AWS Professional certification or equivalent knowledge level.
• Understanding of Agile development and SCRUM concepts.
