About the project: 

We are looking for Senior Kotlin Backend Engineer for Stepwise, Warsaw-based Software House, who would like to join an engineering-oriented company. Currently for one of our clients from the USA we are looking for a well-skilled developer who would like to join a newly created Team. 

Project Overview:

You'll be at the forefront of creating a system that captures and analyzes user interactions on a vast scale, ensuring compatibility and security in collaboration with our partners' security teams. This component is vital for enhancing our digital insights platform, serving a major player in the Market Research industry.

Core Technologies:

• Primary Language: Kotlin
• Environment: JVM for high-performance and scalable solutions
• Cloud: Experience with major cloud services providers for optimal component deployment and traffic management

Requirements:

• Expertise in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the JVM ecosystem, focusing on performance optimization and scalability.
• Proven track record of developing high-performance systems capable of handling large-scale data.
• Solid understanding of cloud environments, including deployment strategies and traffic management to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
• Experience in working closely with security teams to design and implement solutions that meet strict security requirements.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adapting to and overcoming challenges with innovative solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with proficiency in English (min. B2 level).

Responsibilities:

• Develop a robust tracking component for monitoring user actions across various partner websites, emphasizing scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with partner security teams to ensure the component's compatibility and adherence to stringent security standards.
• Lead the effort in optimizing the deployment and scaling of the tracking system within cloud environments, ensuring efficient traffic management.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate the tracking component seamlessly into the broader digital insights platform.
• Participate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of development practices.
• Engage with partners and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the solution meets their expectations.
