You will contribute to the development of a data retrieval system adept at collecting diverse information through APIs, WebSockets, scraping etc. This versatile system is engineered to perform a range of functions, including parsing, verification, processing, and the seamless transmission of data to both internal and external systems, ensuring the smooth exchange of information across interconnected platforms.
WHAT ROLE WILL YOU TAKE ON A TEAM?
We are currently looking for an experienced talent who would like to join our R&D group and work with us to solve complex problems in a simple way! As a product company, we are looking for long-term cooperation. Your role as Mid Developer requires quality engineering experience. You will be a team player cooperating with other Developers, Product Managers, QA, System Architects and Tech Leader.
You will spend your time mostly on:
– coding new features (~60%)
– maintenance and bug fixing (~20%)
– internal meetings and analyses (~20%)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deploy end to end process of robust, scalable backend services.
- Collaborate with system architects, data scientists and product managers to define and implement business logic and data models.
- Maintain and optimize existing backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards and mentor junior engineers to elevate code quality across the team.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and assess their usability for current and future projects.
- Establish good relationship with your teammates and partners, understand requirements, create code, automatic tests and documentation.
OUR EXPECTATIONS

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record of deploying production-grade services.
- Proven experience in C# .Net Core.
- Experience in real-time messaging systems and technologies such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Strong experience with SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Good understanding of containerized architecture such us Docker, Kubernetes.
- Finished studies in a technical field like computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related area.
- Very good english both written and spoken.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid mode.
WOULD BE YOUR ADVANTAGE:
- Experience in frontend frameworks such a Angular, React or Vue.js
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Powershell
HOW DO WE WORK?
We work in self-organizing Scrum teams. Test writing and code refactoring is our daily bread. We are taking care of the technological debt and the quality of the code. We plan our Sprint goals every 2 weeks, and use OKR’s in every quarter planning. We speak both Polish (internally) and English (with our partners). We work in hybrid mode with flexible hours, from home or from the office in Katowice (no dress code).
