Who we are looking for:
Part of the EMEA Software Development team, the Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for designing and executing software functional tests. The successful candidate for this position will have experience on software testing and/or fund accounting on the SIMCORP system. Experience on software automation will be considered as an asset. The position is located in Krakow (Poland).

What you will be responsible for:
  • Creating test plans and manual/automated test cases for each assigned application.
  • Determining regression testing scope for each project. Review and update the regression testing pack after each release.
  • Executing manual and automated tests (tools: TestComplete, UFT, Selenium) as defined in the test plan. Diagnose system problems and recommend solutions.
  • Depending on the project size, assign testing related tasks to team members and monitor execution.
  • Preparing project report and ensures metrics are kept up to date in the testing management system (ALM QC / RTC).

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ of quality assurance experience in a financial software environment
  • Experience with software engineering standards, metrics and quality assurance principles
  • Testing automation tools: TestComplete, UFT
  • Testing Management Tool: ALM Quality Center, Rational Team Concert
  • Experience with the SIMCORP Dimension software
  • Fluent English, knowledge of German language will be a plus
