Role

We are looking for a technically skilled and proactive individual to support a dynamic team of 50 developers and testers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by assisting with configuration tasks, managing local development environments, and maintaining essential hardware.

You will develop and maintain automation scripts in Python to streamline repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency. A strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and developer tools is essential, as you’ll be troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues.

This role also involves working closely with various teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technical solutions that support productivity and stability across the development lifecycle. While cloud infrastructure is not part of this role, occasional use of virtualization may be required.

Requirements

  • Electronic and hardware basic knowledge
  • Strong Python skills – ability to write and maintain scripts to automate administrative and development tasks
  • Experience with operating system administration: Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS) – system setup, troubleshooting, service management
  • Windows – installation and configuration of development environments, knowledge of system tools
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts – IP addressing, routing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, connection diagnostics
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Bash, PowerShell – nice to have)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both software and hardware issues in a development-focused environment
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset – you’ll be supporting a team of around 50 developers and testers

(Nice to have) – Basic knowledge of virtualization tools (e.g., VirtualBox, VMware) or containerization (e.g., Docker), but no cloud experience required
