Job description

Apps Services is the Delivery Center based in the center of Katowice, Poland - we focus on Application Development and Integration.

Tasks:
- Administration of servers involved in the project construction phase
- Active participation in solving problems with the platform, in particular during performance tests
- Improvement of the Continuous Development (DEVOPS) platform:
- Container upgrade (docker based)
- Improving monitoring (based on the Icinga system)
- Automating the process of creating versions (Ansible, Jenkins, python and bash)
- Defining needs
Requirements:
- practical experience in administering and solving problems with server-based Linux systems, in particular RHEL and CentOS
- Knowledge of VMWare and vSphere, especially in the field of creating VM and managing the allocation of their resources
- Understanding the network topology
- Incumbents to present new solutions
- Willingness to learn new technologies, such as:
- Monitoring (Icinga)
- Docking (docker, kubernetes)
- ELK (ElasticSearch / Logstash / Kibana)
