In 2025 we've opened our second office in Gdańsk. Currently, our team consists of almost 1,000 specialists who share their expertise working in one of our two departments: Digital Platform Services or Application Services.
We are looking for a Senior .Net + VB6 Developer to join Sopra Steria Apps Services on a project developed for one of the biggest flavors and fragrances manufacturer in the world.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.
Responsibilities:
• new features design and implementation
• maintaining existing solutions in .NET C# as well as VB.NET and VB6.0
• frontend design and implementation
• migration of existing modules from VB6.0 to .NET technologies
• development, testing and maintenance activities

Must have requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience
• Good experience in .NET (C#, VB)
• Good knowledge in Visual Basic 6.0
• Good technical and functional knowledge
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience in all stages of the product life cycle
• Analytic thinking, ability to digging into source of the problem
• Excellent communication skills
• university education (Bachelor, Engineer, or Master’s Degree)
• English B2/C1
• Preferably located in Silesia
Nice to have requirements:
• ORACLE PL/SQL
• Experience in large scale applications development
• Good technical and functional knowledge
• Refactoring skills
