We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team in DevOps operational activities within insurance industry.
Mission/activities:
• Configuration and deployment of infrastructure elements,
• Creating and maintaining pipelines,
• Maintaining cooperation between operations and development teams,
• Migration of the infrastructure into AWS.
Tech stack:
• Jenkins (maintaining pipelines, seeds, jobs. logs analyze)
• Github
• Jfrog: Artifactory, distribution and edge nodes. AQL
• Ansible scripts/playbooks: stored in inventory and executed in AWX
• Grafana&Prometheus, creating Dashboards and handling altering
• Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Helm, Docker Container
• Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
Must have requirements:
• Sound knowledge of application development, tools such as IntelliJ, VisualCode, Git etc. and the processes and technologies (e.g. WebService, REST, SpringBoot, Angular, Jenkins),
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Groovy, Ansible, Terraform etc.,
• Knowledge of file formats such as XML, JSON, YAML etc.,
• In-depth knowledge of the cloud environment of Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, as well as container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker,
• Familiarity with terms such as IaaS or IaC, as well as the associated techniques,
• Very good Linux/Unix know-how,
• Team player approach, strong communication skills, being able to work independently and on your own responsibility,
• Degree in (business) informatics, mathematics or a comparable degree or a comparable qualification through professional experience,
• German B2/C1,
• English B2/C1,
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.
Nice to have requirements:
• Understanding Mainframe (the components from my team compile PL1 Batch Modules from Mainframe/PL1 to Linux and deploy the Modules to different Linux environments).
