QA Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Design and run a manual test cases, as well as automation and performance tests.
- Prepare test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Interpret executed test cases, and confirming that the software behavior respects the requirements.
- Tracking and logging defects during execution.
- Complete ownership of feature, involvement as quality engineer in design inception, development, testing, automation and release to Production.
- Oversee the overall QA lifecycle, from test planning, to implementation, execution and results reporting with minimal supervision.
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Functional and Regression).
- Good understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC and STLC
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Take ownership of a defect and drive it to closure
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
QA Engineer Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent course.
- 3+ years of software testing environment (Web Applications).
- Good time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience in writing SQL’s for relational databases.
- Hands-on experience on Azure DevOps and CI/CD principles.
- Exposure to API testing.
- Experience in Selenium automation with good command on C# and Specflow is a plus.
- Experience in Azure DevOps/Azure Cloud is a plus.
