We drive the design/discovery or assessment of cloud architectures of any size and complexity performed by one or a team of architects acting as a technology decision making. The professional having
- Proper understanding of DevOps
- At least 5 years in OS administration and related technologies
- Experience with designing CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization: VMware, Docker, ECS, Kubernetes (EKS, Rancher, OpenShift, 'vanilla'), Apache Mesos, HashiCorp Nomad
- Excellent knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Well-Architected Framework and proven experience in working and configuring major PaaS/IaaS services
- Solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code (principles, tools, tests, best practices): Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation
- Knowledge of configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, AWS OpsWorks, etc.)
- Proficiency in deploying, monitoring, and administration of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Background of logging concepts and tools
- Profound experience with monitoring and gathering metrics platforms (infrastructure, APM)
- A deep concept of network infrastructure
- Understanding and experience with security in the cloud
additionally, what's concerning Lead DevOps & Cloud Architect roles:
- Participation in architectural service executions such as Discovery, Assessment, and Architectural Project Support
- Leading engineering teams to implement the solution guided by the defined architecture vision
- Translating customers’ business, functional, and non-functional requirements into high-quality solution design visions and operations plans consistent with enterprise architectural standards using Attribute Driven Design
- Working as an Architect including design, building and maintaining complex, cloud-based solutions
- Drives the application/data/infrastructure delivery process design or perform long-term architectural project support acting as a primary technical decision-maker for the engineering team
- Defines application/data/infrastructure delivery strategies, standards, processes, technologies, and tools in the technical visions
