Job description

Online interview
In Smart Factor, we develop IT solutions for Smart City, Smart Mobility, Digital Twins, Asset Management which are already implemented by several dozen cities and companies in Poland. Our integrated systems allow decision-makers to adapt, analyze, design, perform the necessary measurements and visualize data in order to intelligently manage the infrastructure and landscape based on our interactive maps in a cloud environment and 3D, Augmented, and Virtual Reality applications.
We take care of the whole lifecycle of data, starting from data acquisition (custom mobile mapping systems on vehicles created by us, drones, open data), data transformations (AI, big-data, GIS) to the end-user implementing industry specific business processes in road maintenance, construction, infrastructure and public space. Main industries: cities, telco, energy.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Expert in major frontend technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS3)
  • Master's degree in CS, EE, Math, Physics etc. 
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Ability to take long-term responsibility for the project 
  • Team leading ability and willingness 
  • Extensive experience in designing complex systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English and Polish)

ROLE

  • You will be responsible for the whole software development lifecycle of the project 
  • You will cooperate with senior managers both inside and outside the company 
  • You will be involved in strategic planning, high-level cost estimations 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) concepts and tools (OGC standards, QGIS, GeoServer, OpenLayers) 
  • Experience in Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality concepts and tools
  • Experience in working with geospatial data
