We are looking for a passionate and talented Full-Stack Software Developer to join our growing software development team. You are expected to be confident in Typescript and React having created multiple projects in this area.
At Skippet you would working at a high level of abstraction (essentially developing a programming language) while simultaneously implementing intuitive user interfaces for real users to solve their business problems. You would have significant responsibility working in a small, agile, and international team.
Responsibilities:
- Front-end and back-end software development including developing new features such as new views to display data and integrations
- Implementation of responsive designs across web and mobile
- Conducting QA prior to the product’s release and following new feature releases
- Identifying areas of improvement in the product beyond bugs that can improve the user experience and value proposition
- Coordinating the resolution of bugs with the senior dev team
- Occasionally assisting with the company’s marketing website and automating internal processes
What skills do we need?
- Business proficiency in English – the language in the company is English
- Degree in computer science or a technical subject
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a software developer
- A portfolio of personal projects on github ideally in web software development (doesn’t have to be in production)
- Proficiency in Typescript, React, MongoDB
- An interest and ability in front-end UI and UX design
- Passion for solving problems and overcoming technical challenges
