We are looking for an experienced automotive System Architect who will help our customers with general architecture creation and security analysis of vehicle ECUs. The role will be mostly focused on architecture creation and review rather than on firmware and feature development.

CUSTOMER
Our customer is a major international company based in Europe that develops, manufactures, and markets cars and vehicles.

PROJECT
We are responsible for defining and implementing the general architecture solution and security analysis of vehicle ECUs.
You will be part of a global team working with colleagues from around the world and will be responsible for architecture creation and review rather than firmware and feature development.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 7+ years of Software Development experience
  • Experience as a System Architect
  • Experience in creating architectures for modular ECU building blocks: ECM (Engine Control Module), BCM (Breaks control module), TCM (Transmission Control Module)
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, SysML\UML modeling
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR and ASPICE standards and principles
  • Experience with PCB analysis and review
  • Deep understanding of various interfaces: I2C, CAN-open, Lin-bus, SPI, ODB2, Flex-Ray, MOST
  • Experience with ASIL C, D projects
  • Hands-on experience with DOORS
  • Experience with Automotive embedded systems: MCU, DPSs, FPGAs, ADAS
  • Schematics design experience
  • Experience with V-model SDLC
  • Knowledge of NXP, ARM Cortex, and other automotive-specific MCU’s
  • Knowledge of top-down system architecture analysis methods with a focus on functional safety, cybersecurity, and energy consumption efficiency
  • Master’s degree in system engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
  • At least Upper-Intermediate level of English

NICE TO HAVE:
  • AUTOSAR or ASPICE certification
  • ISO 26262 certification

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creating the system architecture of vehicle ECUs
  • Creating strategies for architectures in ECU projects
  • Searching for alternatives for architectures, evaluating and documenting them
  • Review of ECU’s system architecture and documentation, with a focus on security, safety, and compliance with AUTOSAR and ASPICE standards
  • Hardware and functional specification creation
  • Schematics design creation
