Product Management
Within the Product Management team, you are the key focal point between the local and regional team, where you deeply understand the pain points and gather insights from the local teams. You are the bridge between different Business Units to build a pipeline of features, gathering requirements, prioritising them, and eventually ensure the successful delivery of these features to the respective markets. In this role, you will work cross-functionally and gain a broad understanding of the end-to-end of the e-commerce industry where your experience spans across multiple domains.
Responsibilities
- Actively engage with local business stakeholders and function leaders for long-term and sustainable product solutions that best suit one of our local markets
- Maintain competitiveness and profitability of product by leveraging on a deep understanding of the local markets.
- Analyse, align and evaluate business requirements, feasibility and value of the feature requests with both business and Product teams to deliver localised Business Requirement Document (BRD).
- Able to build strong relationships through problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, and communicating promptly on progress for critical live issues.
- Prepare User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios, coordinate the testing and live releases.
- Manage cross-functional product features and collaborate with multiple functions to ensure the successful delivery of these features to the respective markets (BRD, UAT, Live Release).
- Execute day-to-day product operations to ensure the continuity of Shopee's business.
- The Product lines will include Listing, RR, CS, API/Buyer, Anti-Fraud areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, technology or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in one of our local markets will be highly preferred.
- Experience in managing the design, planning of product solution and product feature prioritisation.
- Ability to establish and manage initiatives against a set of key metrics and goals, and influencing multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
- Equipped with domain knowledge about e-commerce related products will be a plus.
- Clear logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges. Demonstrates a sense of ownership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- Ability to communicate efficiently in English with internal stakeholders with our international teams.
