Software Development Manager / Tech Lead (m/f/n)
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Development Manager / Tech Lead to join our team and play a key role in leading and scaling engineering teams for international projects. This role combines strong hands-on technical expertise with leadership, architecture ownership, and close cooperation with business stakeholders. You will work in a high-impact position, shaping technical direction while supporting team growth and delivery excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and organize cross-functional engineering teams (Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA).
Act as a hands-on Tech Lead with strong involvement in Node.js / React–based solutions.
Design, consult, and oversee system architecture for scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Coordinate and staff projects using existing and new team members.
Manage and align the work of multiple development teams simultaneously.
Conduct code reviews and support developers in solving complex technical challenges.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, test automation, monitoring, and deployment processes.
Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and support pre-sales activities.
Monitor progress, report KPIs, and identify risks and dependencies.
Collaborate with international stakeholders across Europe, the USA, and APAC.
Drive continuous improvement, technical excellence, and a high-performance engineering culture.
Requirements:
Minimum 8–10+ years of experience in software development and IT solution delivery.
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role (Tech Lead / Software Development Manager).
Strong, hands-on expertise in Node.js and React (one primary specialization required).
Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure or GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and recruit senior engineering talent.
Experience working with distributed and international teams.
Solid understanding of software architecture, security best practices, and modern DevOps approaches.
Familiarity with Agile / Kanban, DevOps culture, and ITIL v4 principles.
Higher technical education (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).
Fluent English (B2+/C1 level).
Availability ASAP (flexibility possible for the right candidate).
