Job description
We are ShelfWise - a fast growing and ambitious company based in Kraków, recently acquired by FORM.com, a US-based company, for our world-leading computer vision AI. Our solution leverages image recognition to provide data and analyses about products and prices on physical shop shelves - in real-time.
We aim to build the world's first fully-integrated task management and image recognition platform for smarter retail execution.
Your tasks will be:
- Development and maintenance of two native mobile apps:
- 50k+ downloads in Google Play, written in Java & Kotlin.
- 10k+ downloads in Google Play, written in Kotlin.
- Developing SDK for taking pictures of store displays with a unique method developed by the ShelfWise team. Written in Kotlin.
- Experimenting with new technologies, i.a. AR, ML models.
- Cooperation with international (US & Polish) mobile, web and ML teams.
- Taking active part in crucial discussions and team decisions.
Great if you have (recommended):
- 3+ years of experience with Android,
- knowledge of MVVM / MVP patterns,
- knowledge of coding best practices: SOLID, Clean Architecture, TDD / BDD,
- understanding of reactive programming (RxJava),
- understanding of Kotlin Coroutines,
- ability to write unit and instrumental tests,
- experience with Material Design concept,
- excellent communication skills,
- ability to switch between different projects,
- fluency in English (speaking and writing).
Nice-to-haves:
- experience with designing SDKs,
- experience with iOS development (Swift),
- experience with Dagger2/Hilt,
- experience with C++ libraries,
- eagerness to work on UI/UX.
